Excess Of Everything Is Unhygienic

By Observer Desk

Vajpayee’s last rites were performed in full military honours. A seven-day state mourning was announced. The Indian state had pulled out all stops. Gun salutes and sounds of the bugle rent the air as the three service chiefs paid their last respects, so did ministers and foreign dignitaries as well. The leaders across the parties came together to pay him last tribute to the departure soul, including former Prime Minister, President of India and others. Narendra Modi, the prime minister, who had described Vajpayee’s death as a “personal loss” and the departure of a “father figure”.

Overall, its fine to have such grand ritual to a stalwart leader like, Mr. Vajpayee. At the same, the BJP is trying to gain political mileage out of that, especially when comes to 2019 general election. Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has himself handed over the Ashes of the late leader to the party’s state unit presidents, according to a statement. Further, his [Vajpayee] ashes will be immersed in all districts and the rivers across the country, since all workers and people across the country want to pay tribute to their beloved leaders and has decided to take out “Asthi Kalash Yatra”.

The pictures coming across the country via media and social media clearly suggesting that, it is more of the ‘vote yatras’ for the upcoming elections which are about to be held in end of the year following the general election 2019. The participating leaders enjoy the munch, instead feeling a grave. Few pictures took centre-stages being the leaders in sleepy mode or being laughing stubs at the stage, knowingly the media is covering the same, thus it doesn’t make sense of doing all such activities when it comes to follow it.
