Four injured in Pakistani firing in Poonch

Poonch, May.06 (HS): Four persons including an Army officer, two soldiers, and a civilian were injured last night when Pakistani army resorted to heavy mortar shelling and small arms firing on forward villages along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch District
Police said late last night a civilian Mushtaq Ahmed son of Mohd Din, Resident of Degwar was last injured in Pakistan shelling in Degwar sector of Poonch District . He was immediately referred to District Hospital Poonch Army sources said an officer and two Army jawans were injured in Krishna Ghati sector of Poonch district while pro did not commented ovinjuries to army cops,
While earlier, a Defense PRO Devinder Anand said Pakistan violated ceasefire by resorting to unprovoked shelling and firing from across the border in the two sectors of Poonch district.
Local said three residential houses were damaged, while a few cattle perished in the Pakistani shelling Mohd Shakeel a local of Degwar said a teacher of our village was injured in Pak firing we tried to rescue him but due to heavy shelling unable to do that later with the help of army we rescued him and shifted him to District Hospital Poonch where doctors treated him and as per doctors his condition was out of danger.
