Jaitley to attend IMF-World Bank Meeting in US

New York, Apr. 11(HS) India’s Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has been on a visit to US from 10th of April for the purpose of attending IMF-World Bank Meeting in Washington (April 12-April 14). After his arrival on Wednesday, he interacted in many round table meetings with investors of New York about reforms in India and its future plans. He addressed sessions organised by FICCI, Indian Consulate in US and India-US partnership Forum. It has been known that the investors are very optimistic about India.FICCI tweeted, ‘It has been conveyed by Mr. Arun Jaitley that the access to banking system, access to toilets, modern approach of cooking, rural road connectivity and house for all were part of social reforms during last five years.Now, the agenda for next five years include reduction of poverty, developing infrastructure, building new cities for migration and increasing participation of women in every sphere.’Economic Affairs Secretary Subhash Chandra Garg and RBI Governor Shakti Kanta Das are also supposed to attend this IMF-World Bank Meeting with him.Hindusthan Samachar
